MINISTRIES of Winner United Methodist Church
This ministry team oversees the sound and computer technology of the church. This includes running sound and worship slides for worship as well as for weddings and funerals. This team keeps the church’s audio-visual updated and functional.
This ministry team oversees the visitation of residents of local assisted living and long-term care facilities as well as shut-ins.
Christian Education Ministry
This ministry team oversees Confirmation, Sunday School, Vacation Bible School, and other age-level ministries, as well as Camps, and Bible Studies.
This ministry team oversees the raising and allocation of funds, proposes and work with the budget of the church, and performs audits as necessary.
This ministry team oversees all funerals.
Lay Leadership Ministry
This ministry team oversees the nominating and recruitment process, and also offers training, empowering, new membership, board training, and recruitment of other ministries.
This ministry team oversees special spiritual events, missions, and various community events.
Pastor Parish Relations Ministry
This ministry team acts as liaisons between the staff and the congregation. This team also oversees the development of staff, handles the evaluation of pastor(s) and other staff, and encourages the growth and development of the pastor(s). This team also keeps the job descriptions for minister and staff current as well as having quarterly meetings with the pastor(s).
Small Group Ministry
This ministry team oversees a wide variety of small groups and Bible studies at the church as well as offering support and training to leaders and encourages the start of new small groups.
This ministry team oversees the building, grounds, and other properties of the church, according to the Book of Discipline.
This ministry team oversees the worship, the music, drama, liturgy, preaching, communion, and church and sanctuary decorating.
